Telangana BJP president Bandi Sanjay Kumar today dared CM K Chandrashekar Rao to face early Assembly elections if he had the courage.
Speaking to media persons at Karimnagar, he said that the BJP was ready for early elections in the State, and asked the CM if he too was.
Bandi attacked KCR on a variety of issues. He asked the CM to show even one place in the State where he was providing 24-hour power, and said that he was ready to quit politics if the CM proved his claims on the supply of 24-hour power.
He also claimed that the migration of labourers had gone up after KCR became the CM of Telangana.
Bandi also asked the CM what he was doing when Andhra Pradesh was "taking away" the share of waters of the State in the Krishna and the Godavari rivers.
He also alleged that Telangana was fourth in the country in suicides by farmers, and added that the State government had stopped all agricultural subsidies to farmers after introducing the Rythu Bandhu scheme, which was anyway only for land-owners and not tenant farmers.
He also alleged that the CM had handed over invalid cheques to the family members of Punjab farmers who had committed suicides opposing the three farm laws of the union government.
Referring to the comments of the party MLA Eatala Rajender that the BJP had coverts of KCR, Bandi said that there were no covert leaders in the party.
