Bahadurpura Flyover To Be Inaugurated On Tuesday
Built at a cost of Rs. 69 crore, the 690-metre six-lane flyover will bring much-needed relief to commuters travelling via the busy Bahadurpura junction.
IT and Industries Minister K T Rama Rao will inaugurate the Bahadurpura flyover in the city on Tuesday.
The date of inauguration was announced by the minister on Twitter.
Built at an estimated cost of Rs. 69 crore, the 690-metre six-lane flyover will bring much-needed relief to commuters travelling via the busy Bahadurpura junction and to the people visiting the Nehru Zoological Park.
It will ease the traffic congestion in the area and reduce the travel time. Vehicles coming from Aramgarh and going towards L B Nagar can travel with ease and lesser hassle hereon.
To avoid water-logging, a drainage system has also been constructed on both sides of the road.
The GHMC has constructed the flyover as part of the Strategic Road Development Plan. 45 properties were acquired, and a Telangana State Southern Power Distribution Company office had to be shifted to construct the flyover.
