Azharuddin's Son Remains Critical

Doctors suspect that Ayazuddin's brain might have got damaged due to his ORR accident.

The condition of Mohammad Ayazuddin, son of Congress MP and former cricketer Mohammad Azharuddin, continues to be critical.

In a bulletin released to the media on Tuesday evening, doctors at the Apollo Hospital said that they performed a nephrectomy surgery today to remove his heavily-bleeding left kidney.

They said that Ayaz has been put on ventilator support, and that his neurological condition continues to be serious. They suspect that his brain might have got damaged due to the accident.

Meanwhile, Ayaz's vital functions are being supported with heavy medication and other procedures. (INN)
