CPI State Secretary Chada Venkat Reddy today criticized Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao for allegedly wasting public money by appointing government advisors against norms.
The Chief Minister was ought to remain a custodian to public money and not waste for his whims and fancies, he pointed out.
During a press release, he alleged that the KCR-led government was violating democratic norms to appease discontented legislators and appointin them as the advisors.
The CPI leader also alleged that the TRS party denied the extension of tenure of former Chief Secretary Pradip Chandra as he belonged to SC community. Venkat Reddy also slammed KCR for allegedly appointed retired Chief Secretary Rajiv Sharma as government advisor after giving a fitting farewell, but denying the same to Chandra.
He ridiculed the CM for withdrawing six Parliamentary secretaries after High Court passing strictures. He also took exception to the KCR government adopting the tradition of appointing advisors.
