AP Political Parties Grieve Yerram Naidu's Death
The state had lost a good leader, and personally, he has lost a good friend, said an aggrieved CM.

Several national and state leaders across party lines sent their condolences for the death of TDP veteran K Yerran Naidu in a tragic road accident in the early hours of Friday.
Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh, Congress president Sonia Gandhi, Governor ESL Narasimhan, Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar, Telugu Desam Party leader N Chandrababu Naidu and other leaders expressed grief and shock over Yerran Naidu's death.
In his condolence message, the Chief Minister lamented that the state had lost a good leader, and that, personally, he had lost a good friend. Expressing grief over Yerrannaidu's death, the CM conveyed his condolences to the family members of the deceased.
The entire Telugu Desam Party plunged into gloom on recieving the news of Yerran Naidu's death. TDP president N Chandrababu Naidu discontinued his padayatra in Mahabubnagar district and rushed to Hyderabad to board a flight to Visakhapatnam. He then travelled to Srikakulam by road to attend Yerran Naidu's last rites.
Describing Yerran Naidu's death as a huge loss to the party, the TDP chief said that Yerran Naidu was a politician with high moral and ethical values, and a man of the masses. Rajya Sabha MP T Devender Goud and Nagarkurnool MLA Nagam Janardhan Reddy too expressed grief over Yerran Naidu's death.
Tamil Nadu Governor K Rosaiah, Union Minister Daggubati Purandeswari, Deputy Chief Minister Damodar Rajanarasimha, Pradesh Congress Commitee president Botsa Satyanarayana, YSR Congress party honorary president YS Vijayamma, Telangana Rashtra Samithi president K Chandrasekhara Rao, Bharatiya Janata Party leader M Venkaiah Naidu and other leaders also condoled Yerran Naidu's death.
Yerran Naidu died in a road accident on early Friday. The mishap took place when a car, in which the 55-year-old TDP leader was traveling along with four others, hit an oil tanker from behind near Ranasthalam at around 2 AM. Naidu, a politburo member of TDP, was returning to Srikakulam from Visakhapatnam, after attending a marriage when the accident occurred.
A profusely bleeding Naidu was shifted to Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS), where the doctors’ efforts to resuscitate him failed. He was declared dead at around 3:30 AM. (INN)
