TDP Leader Yerram Naidu Dies In Car Crash
The accident occurred near Dandanapeta, which is 23km away from Srikakulam, at around 2am, when the car he was travelling in hit an oil tanker.

Yerrannaidu Kinjarapu, a senior member of the Telugu Desam Party and a former union minister, died in a car crash in Srikakulam early Friday morning.
The accident occured near Dandanapeta, which is 23 Km away from Srikakulam, at around 2 AM when the car he was travelling in hit an oil tanker. Although he was shifted to KIMS hospital in Srikakulam immediately and had the best efforts of the doctors at his disposal, the minister was declared dead at 3:30 AM this morning.
Two other TDP memebers, District TDP Coordinator Kalisetti Appalanaidu and TDP District president Chowdary Babji, were also travelling with Yerrannaidu, sustained injuries but are not in danger of death. They have also been admitted to KIMS hospital.
Aged 55, Yerrannaidu Kinjarapu had been a politician since 1982 under the aegis of N T Ramarao. Elected a member of the Lok Sabha four times, Yerrannaidu represented the Srikakulam constituency at the time of his death.
He is survived by his wife, daughter and son. K Atchannaidu, his brother, is making arrangements for his last rites in his village of Nimmada on Friday evening.
