Former Telugu Desam Party MLA Kothakota Dayakar Reddy passed away in Hyderabad on Tuesday.
Reddy, who had been suffering from cancer for some time, took his last breath in the AIG Hospital in the city.
He was elected as an MLA three times from Mahabubnagar district in the combined Andhra Pradesh, on TDP tickets. He was elected twice from the Amarachintha Assembly constituency, and once from the Maktal constituency.
TDP president Chandrababu Naidu, Telangana Speaker Pocharam Srinivas Reddy, Telangana ministers Niranjan Reddy, Srinivas Goud and Errabelli Dayakar Rao, TPCC president Revanth Reddy, BJP national vice-president D K Aruna and other elected representatives expressed their heartfelt condolences to Reddy's family members, and recollected his services to the people.
