Telangana IT Minister K T Rama Rao today said that the people of Andhra Pradesh would have to decide on the three-capital proposal mooted by Chief Minister Y S Jaganmohan Reddy.
KTR was reacting to several questions on Twitter, including one on the three capital cities proposal for Andhra Pradesh being opposed by the striking farmers.
When asked to forget about him being a Telangana person and respond to the proposal neutrally, KTR said that he was not the person who would decide on the issue, and that it was for the AP people to decide.
Responding to other questions, KTR said that there were proposals to build slip roads and link roads to connect areas, including Gopannapally and Thelkapur. At L B Nagar, one flyover was completed and being used now, and two more were getting ready, he said.
Asked about international investments in the State, KTR said that some investments had come in, and that a few more were expected in electronics, manufacturing, textiles, processing units and other categories.
He also said that balancing politics with economic issues was a big challenge. And, of course, he said that his father Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao was his inspiration.
