Andhra Pradesh Information and Public Relations minister Perni Nani today responded to the statement of Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao that the latter would expand his party to AP, too.
He said that instead of expanding his party to AP, KCR should work towards just merging the two states.
He said that KCR should pass a resolution in a cabinet meeting to merge the two Telugu-speaking states, and that KCR could contest in the united state after the merger.
The minister also pointed out that the Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y S Jaganmohan Reddy had expressed his desire in the past that the two states should be one.
