The depression over central and adjoining north-east Bay Of Bengal intensified into a Deep Depression, and lay centered at 8:30am on Thursday over central Bay Of Bengal about 580 km south-east of Visakhapatnam.
According to the India Meteorological Department, it would move northwestwards, and intensify further into a cyclonic storm during the next 24 hours. It would then move west-northwestward towards the Andhra Pradesh coast. It would weaken gradually into a depression while reaching the coast on the night of November 8th.
Light to moderate rain or thundershowers may occur at isolated places over north coastal Andhra Pradesh, south coastal Andhra Pradesh and Rayalaseema on Thursday and Friday, while light to moderate rain or thundershowers would occur at many places over north coastal Andhra Pradesh, at a few places over south coastal Andhra Pradesh, and at isolated places over Rayalaseema on Saturday.
