26-year-old Chinatala Paidi Raju, an engineer who hails from Gajuvaka, Visakhapatnam district, was kidnapped two days ago in Assam by suspected Bodo militants.
26-year-old Chinatala Paidi Raju, an engineer who hails from Gajuvaka, Visakhapatnam district, was kidnapped two days ago in Assam by suspected Bodo militants. Paidi Raju, who works for the C&C Construction company in Bodoland Territorial Council, went missing on Saturday evening, and his manager immediately informed his family members of his disappearance.
According to sources, around 50 men cornered Paidi Raju in Dhekia Puta, Baksha district, and abducted him.
A call was received by the company last evening confirming that Paidi Raju has been kidnapped. The kidnappers did not put forth any demands.
Inspector General G P Singh suspects that that the militants belong to the National Democratic Front of Bodoland.
