Telangana Congress Condemns TDP-BJP Alliance

It said that by supporting Narendra Modi's candidature for the Prime Minister's post, Chandrababu Naidu had shed all the ideals of secularism.

Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee spokesperson B Kamalakar Rao on Sunday stated that Telugu Desam Party had committed suicide by re-aligning with the Bharatiya Janata Party.

Speaking to media persons at Gandhi Bhavan here, Kamalakar Rao said that the TDP made its biggest mistake by joining hands with the BJP.

Similarly, he said that the BJP, which is projecting itself to be the champion of Telangana, had insulted the people of this region by aligning with the TDP which obstruction the Telangana formation

He said that both the parties would be given a fitting lesson by the people of Telangana in the forthcoming elections.

Kamalakar Rao said that by entering into an alliance with the BJP, the TDP was trying in vain to keep itself alive in the region.

He said that the alliance between the two parties was an indication that both were afraid of defeat in the ensuing elections.

He said that by supporting Narendra Modi's candidature for the Prime Minister's post, TDP president N Chandrababu Naidu had shed all the ideals of secularism. (INN)
