Bifurcation Process Lacks Scientific Approach: CPI

CPI alleged that Union Ministers from the Seemandhra region are trying to influence the Centre and Group of Ministers (GoM) over the Telangana issue.
Hyderabad | 10th November 2013
CPI State Secretary K Narayana on Sunday alleged that the Centre is not adopting a scientific approach to bifurcate Andhra Pradesh to carve out the separate Telangana state.

Talking to reporters in Tirupati, Narayana objected to the process being followed by the Centre to divide the state.

He alleged that Union Ministers from the Seemandhra region are trying to influence the Centre and Group of Ministers (GoM) on Telangana, to protect their own interests in the state's division.

Further, he said that the GoM is not holding the all-party meeting to discuss the Telangana issue, as per the established norms. (INN)
