The Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen on Tuesday announced the names of six more candidates for the ensuing Assembly elections.
Interestingly, of the six, four candidates are non-Muslims and represent Christian, SC, BC and Tribal communities.
The party named Mir Majaz Ali and Syed Rahmat as its candidates for the Assembly seats of Nizamabad Urban and Patencheru, respectively. While Naliganti Sharath, an OU student belonging to the SC community, has been given the MIM ticket from the Amberpet seat, James Silverster will be the candidate from Secunderabad.
Also, G Motilal Naik has been named as the candidate from Bhongir, while Naveen Yadav will contest from the Jubilee Hills seat as the MIM candidate. (INN)
