Antony Committee Is Solution: D Srinivas

Former PCC president and MLC D Srinivas expressed his view that the issues supposed to arise due to the bifurcation of the state, should be brought to the notice of the Antony Committee.

Speaking to the media at his residence, Srinivas said, "No one should question the decision of the Congress Working Committee. The Congress High Command had taken the decision on Telangana only after consulting all political parties."

He also asked the APNGOs to bring the issues related to bifurcation, if any, to the notice of the Antony Committee. He said that the decision on the bifurcation of the State has already been already delivered, and exuded confidence that the Centre would not go back on its decision over the formation of a separate Telangana State.

Srinivas has alleged that some people have been trying to create a hindrance in the formation of a Telangana State. "The Seemandhra Congress leaders should support the Congress High Command's decision on Telangana statehood," he added. (INN)
