Another Fire Accident At Srisailam Power House

The woes of the power plant do not seem to end.
Hyderabad | 2nd September 2020
Another fire accident took place this evening at the Srisailam hydro-electric power project.

The incident caused quite a bit of panic among the workers of the project, and video footage of the accident has gone viral on the social media.

The accident took place when a DCM van accidentally trundled over some electric cable wires leading to a short circuit.

As a result, a fire started and flames engulfed the area over a distance of ten metres.

However, the CMD of TSGENCO Prabhakar Rao later claimed that the incident was just a mock drill conducted in view of the recent fire accident in the plant.
