AP To Fill 9,061 Teachers' Posts
The vacancies to be filled include those for 1,849 School Assistants, 812 Language Pundits, 156 PETs and 6,244 SGTs.

The Andhra Pradesh Government has decided to fill 9,061 vacant posts of teachers in the State through the District Selection Committees.
According to Education Minister Ganta Srinivas Rao, the notification for the recruitment for these posts would be issued on Friday. Online applications for the posts will be accepted from December 3, 2014, to January 17, 2015. The hall tickets can be downloaded from April 25, and the written test (TRS-2014) will be held on May 9, 10 and 11 at designated centres.
The initial key will be released on May 18, and online objections will be received from May 19 to 25. The final key will be released on May 27, and the results will be declared on May 28, 2015.
The vacancies to be filled include those for 1,849 School Assistants, 812 Language Pundits, 156 PETs and 6,244 SGTs. The vacancies include 1,196 backlog vacancies and 7,865 current vacancies.
