Chief Minister Konijeti Rosaiah moved into the Camp Office at Somajiguda on Monday, amid Vedic chants and hymns 6 months after his predecessor Y S Rajashekhar Reddy's demise.
The ceremony was attended by Union Minister S Jaipal Reddy, APCC president D Srinivas, government advisor and close aide K V P Ramachandra Rao, and several other MPs and MLAs. Rosaiah made it clear that though his moving into the camp office was initiated to avoid security disturbances to his neighbors, there will not be any change of his residence from Ameerpet.
The Chief Minister will be henceforth be available from 9am to 10:30am everyday at the camp office to attend to public grievances and accept petitions. In the evenings, he will work from from 6pm to 8pm, meeting MLAs and holding review meetings with officials.
