All Set For ODI Cricket World Cup Matches At Uppal Stadium
Huge bandobust has been made for the three ODI Cricket World Cup matches scheduled to be held at the Uppal stadium in Hyderabad on October 6, 9 and 10.

Rachakonda Commissioner of Police D S Chauhan today said that huge bandobust had been made to enable the successful conduct of the three ODI Cricket World Cup matches scheduled to be held at the Uppal Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad on October 6, 9 and 10.
Speaking to media persons, Chauhan said that two warm-up matches had already been completed at the stadium.
He said the three upcoming matches would begin at 2 pm and that the gates would be open and spectators allowed inside the stadium from 11 am.
"There were no traffic diversions for the warm-up matches, but some traffic diversions will be made for the three main matches of the World Cup," he added.
He also said that a control room had been set up for CC camera surveillance, and that 30 personnel would be checking the cameras.
The CP also said that some 1,200 police personnel had been deployed for security arrangements. There was a special focus on black ticket sellers, he added.
A total of 48 matches will be played in the 46-day ODI tournament being held in India, in 10 cricket stadiums across the country. The matches will be played in 10 cities - Ahmedabad, Mumbai, Delhi, Chennai, Kolkata, Bengaluru, Lucknow, Dharamshala, Pune and Hyderabad.
