The YSR Congress received another jolt on Sunday, when a former MP, a political stalwart of Adilabad district, Indra Karan Reddy, decided to quit the party in protest against its anti-Telangana stand.
Indra Karan had joined the YSR Congress in December last year, after he, along with MLA Koneru Konappa, met YSRCP President Jaganmohan Reddy in Chanchalguda Jail on November 30.
His entry into the YSRCP was of political prominence, as he is backed by a strong cadre and clout.
However, after the exit of senior leaders including Konda Surekha, K K Mahender Reddy, Jitta Bala Krishna Reddy and others, he too decided to quit the party. (INN)
