Addl Collector, Municipal Commissioner In ACB Net
The Telangana Anti-Corruption Bureau today booked a Ranga Reddy Additional Collector and the Pebbair Municipal Commissioner for corruption.

A case of disproportionate assets was registered today against M Venkata Bhoopal Reddy, Additional Collector (Land Revenue) of Ranga Reddy district.
ACB officials conducted searches at four locations, including at his residence and the homes of his close relatives, uncovering movable and immovable properties valued at Rs 5,05,71,676. Of those, disproportionate assets (assets disproportionate to his known sources of income) were worth Rs 4,19,40,158.
According to the Director General of the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB), Telangana, the property values above are according to documentation values, and their actual market value is significantly higher.
In a separate incident, Pebbair Municipal Commissioner Kandikatla Adisheshu was caught red-handed this afternoon accepting a Rs 20,000 bribe at his office.
The bribe was solicited from a complainant in exchange for sanctioning payment for contract work, including painting and laying CC roads completed in 2023.
ACB officials conducted a chemical test and recovered the tainted money from his office desk.
Adisheshu was accused of performing his duties improperly and dishonestly for personal gain, according to the ACB officials. He was subsequently arrested and produced before the First Additional Special Judge for SPE & ACB cases in Nampally.
The ACB director urged the public to report any demand for bribes by public servants through the ACB's toll-free number 1064, and said that the identity of complainants would be kept confidential.
