ACB Arrests Mancherial ALO For Bribe
Assistant Labour Officer Katam Ram Mohan was caught red-handed by the Anti-Corruption Bureau at his residence while accepting a bribe of Rs 50,000.

Assistant Labour Officer (ALO) of Mancherial and in-charge of Sirpur Kagaznagar, Katam Ram Mohan, was caught red-handed by the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) at his residence today while accepting a bribe of Rs 50,000 from a complainant.
The bribe was demanded for processing and forwarding the complainant's application to higher authorities for the sanction of accidental death compensation and funeral charges.
The claim pertained to the complainant's brother, a registered building construction labourer, who had recently passed away.
The tainted bribe amount was recovered from the officer's possession. He has been arrested and will be produced before the Special Judge for SPE & ACB Cases, Karimnagar.
In a separate bribery case yesterday, the ACB arrested Deputy Tahsildar Yelagandula Bhavani of Mulugu mandal, Siddipet district.
A case was registered against her for allegedly demanding Rs 12,00,000 from a complainant on April 24, 2025, to process the Pattadar Passbook of the complainant's relative.
