Accused In Maoist Letter Case Arrested In Hyderabad
The letter claimed to be from the Maoists, and said former MLA Kuna Srisailam Goud's brother Kuna Ravinder Goud's son would be killed.

The police have arrested the accused in the Maoist letter case under the jurisdiction of the Jeedimetla police station.
The accused, identified as Yerramsetty Raju, 33, and Kandurelli Raju, 24, tenants of a Kuna Raghavendra Goud, along with his friend, wrote a threatening letter in the name of the Maoists on the 21st of this month.
It targeted the family of former MLA Kuna Srisailam Goud's brother Kuna Ravinder Goud, saying that the latter's son, Kuna Raghavendra Goud, would be killed if Rs 50 lakh were not paid.
The letter also warned that Goud's two houses would be blown up with bombs.
An unidentified person destroyed items in front of the house and left the letter there. The letter was placed in a red towel on a car, and the individual fled the scene.
The letter created a stir in Shapur Nagar, Medchal district. Raghavendra Goud reported the incident to the police on the 21st of this month. The police registered a case and launched an investigation. The person wearing a mask was identified in CCTV footage, and he was subsequently arrested.
Crude bombs, three cellphones and two threatening letters were seized from the accused. It is reported that they purchased the bombs in Vizianagaram.
