ACB Given 2-Day Custody Of Sandra Venkata Veeraiah
The ACB will interrogate Veeraiah, key accused on the Revanth Reddy bribery case, from 9:30 am to 5:30 pm on July 9, and from 9:30 am to 4:30 pm on July 10.
The Special Court for ACB cases today granted two days' custody of TDP MLA Sandra Venkata Veeraiah to ACB investigators in connection with the high-profile Revanth Reddy note-for-vote bribery case.
The ACB had filed a petition with the Special Court seeking five-day custody of Veeraiah as it wanted to get more incriminating evidence and information in the case. However, after hearing both sides, the court directed the ACB to keep Veeraiah in its custody only on July 9 and 10.
As per the court's orders, the ACB will interrogate Veeraiah from 9:30 am to 5:30 pm on July 9, and from 9:30 am to 4:30 pm on July 10.
The Special Court had on Tuesday sent Veeraiah, who was arrested two days ago, to 14-day judicial custody. (NSS)
