ACB Finds Huge Assets In Raid On Engineer's House
The Anti-Corruption Bureau raided the Telangana electricity department's Assistant Deputy Engineer Subba Rao's home and found crores worth of properties.
Acting on a tip-off, the Anti-Corruption Bureau sleuths on Tuesday raided the residence of the Telangana electricity department's Assistant Deputy Engineer Subba Rao and found promissory notes worth several crores of rupees, blank cheques, and documents pertaining to 20 house plots around the city.
Following information that Rao had amassed huge wealth disproportionate to his known sources of income, the ACB sleuths conducted raids at his residence and seized documents pertaining to assets worth several crores of rupees
The ACB also detected that Rao had more than 20 plots worth Rs 30 crores at Amaravathi, the proposed Andhra Pradesh capital.
