6,000 Party Leaders To Attend TRS Plenary

TRS working president and Minister for Municipal Administration and IT, K T Rama Rao, today visited Hitex, the venue for the TRS plenary tomorrow in the city.

Party leaders accompanied Rao as he inspected the preparations for the mega event.

Elaborate arrangements have been made for the grand plenary session, which will begin at 10 am.

Only delegates with passes will be allowed to enter the premises. The plenary will have two sessions - one from 11 am to 1 pm, and another from 2 pm to 5 pm, with a break for lunch from 1 pm to 2 pm, according to information.

About 6,000 leaders from all districts will attend the program.

In the first session itself the plenary will declare the name of the TRS president. It will also pass seven resolutions during the early session.

The TRS leadership will then take up agenda of the plenary.

In addition to KTR, party Secretary General K Keshava Rao, and top party leaders of the state and district levels will attend.

There are 35 counters for registration to enter, and 29 types of food items on the list. The leaders will clearly get sumptuous meals.

The TRS did not conduct its plenary the last three times it was due, for different reasons. This year however marks the completion of the 20th year of the party's formation, and the leaders are keen to attend it.
