Khaja Naseeruddin, resident of Kalapathar is arrested for plying 2 auto rickshaws with the same registration number.
The sleuths of the Commissioner's Task Force, South Zone Team, caught Khaja Naseeruddin, who has been accused of plying two autos with a single registration number.
The auto rickshaws - bearing regd. no. AP-12V-8290, engine no. 24ZWDB31293, chasis no. MD2A23AZ5DWB29199,and regd. no. AP-12V-8290, engine no. 24ZWCF20780, chasis no. MD2A23AZ3CWF19197 - were seized on receipt of credible information, on Sep 28.
The accused had purchased an auto rickshaw, with aid from Sriram Finance, Khairatabad, and got it registered at the RTA South Zone office, Kishanbagh. Regd. no. AP-12V-8290 was assigned to the vehicle. Naseeruddin has reportedly been plying the auto by renting it to auto drivers for a sum of Rs. 250 per day, for the past 3 months.
However, the accused purchased another auto later, from Sikander, who in turn purchased the same from Ali (sub-dealer, aged 40 yrs, r/o Moghalpura). Ali had reportedly purchased the auto from Abhinandan Show Room in Saifabad, a year back.
Khaja Naseeruddin, however, did not get the 2nd vehicle registered. He has been accused of plying this vehicle with the fake regd. no. AP-12V-8290 (the 1st vehicle's regd. no.).
The accused was handed over to the SHO of Kalapathar for further inquiry and action to be taken against him.
The arrest was made under the supervision of B Limba Reddy, Addl. Dy. Commissioner of Police, Commissioner's Task Force, Hyderbad, by K V Surya Prakash Rao, Inspector of Police, with the assistance of the staff of South Zone Task Force team.
The detailes of the accused are - Khaja Naseeruddin s/o. Khaja Ghayasuddin, aged 42 yrs, working as a tailor, r/o h. no. 19-2-184/9, Ramnaspura, near Zoopark, Kalapathar, Hyderabad. (INN)
