170 Youth Arrested In Old City For Daredevilry

The police detained 170 youngsters for creating havoc at midnight riding two-wheelers recklessly in the Old City on the midnight of April 26.

The City police conducted an "Operation Chabutra" in the Old City on Wednesday midnight and rounded up some 170 youth.

During the operation the police saw several youngsters creating havoc at midnight riding two-wheelers recklessly, and intercepted 170 such youth and detained them. This morning, the South Zone police summoned the parents of these erring youth and released the latter after counselling them in the presence of their parents.

The police have also warned the youth of severe action if they failed to mend their behaviour.
