The Railway Police today arrested 10 more accused of the recent attack on the Secunderabad railway station.

The police booked cases against them under various sections of the Indian Railways Act and the IPC.

The police then conducted medical tests on the accused at the Gandhi Hospital and produced them before a railway court later.

The magistrate sent the accused to judicial remand for 14 days, and to the Chanchalguda central prison.

Of the 10 accused, it is learnt that five are admins of different WhatsApp groups.

A2 in the case Prithviraj, a native of Adilabad district, reportedly played an important role in the destruction at the railway station.

The police have so far arrested 45 suspects in the incident, and identified a Madhusudhan as the principal accused. The police said that Madhusudhan asked all the agitators to come to the railway station on the morning of June 17 and to burn train bogies instead of holding peaceful protests, in the WhatsApp groups.
