BRS president and Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao today said that if 10 HP motors were placed at borewells, power transformers and sub-stations would explode.
Addressing a Praja Aashirwada Sabha at Maheshwaram in Ranga Reddy district, the CM ridiculed the statement of TPCC president Revanth Reddy that three hours of power supply was enough for agriculture if all farmers installed 10 HP motors at their agricultural pumpsets.
"If 10 HP motors are placed at borewells, the transformers will explode like firecrackers, and will power sub-stations. Who will be held responsible for all the damages? Congress leaders are talking so carelessly about supplying power to agriculture. People should teach them a fitting lesson in the upcoming Assembly elections," KCR said.
He also said that middlemen rule would come again and dark days would prevail in Telangana if the Congress was voted to power.
"People should think carefully before casting their votes, and cast them wisely. Otherwise, there will be problems," KCR said.
