Allu Arvind calls for film fraternity to come together, says these attacks don’t look like they’ll stop.

Ever since Chiranjeevi, the PRP chief, made clear his support for the united Andhra Pradesh movement, his nephew Allu Arjun is among those who’ve been unwittingly caught in the issue. Now, ABVP and TRS workers/supporters have created havoc during the shooting of his latest film, Varudu, at a village near Ramoji Film City. Shooting equipment and a television were destroyed, and the incident has forced Allu Arvind to hold a press meet in his office.
Allu Arvind, renowned film producer and father of Allu Arjun, has appealed to the film fraternity to come together and tackle the issue, and said that these attacks on movie sets do not look like they will stop. He said that he has appealed to the Chamber for help, and stressed on the need for unity among everyone in the film industry.
Just yesterday, Mohan Babu and his children faced the Telangana ire, when the filming of a movie from the family’s home production was violently disrupted.
Allu Arvind has asked KCR, the TRS chief, what the point of his supporters’ actions was. He said he does not believe that KCR is backing them, and asked him to stop what he termed “cheap tactics” of these workers. He also said that it was necessary for the JAC to give proper instructions to its cadres.
Recently, Arya 2 (starring Allu Arjun) and Magadheera (Ram Charan) were boycotted in the Nizam region.
