The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation has launched a 24x7 call centre for grievance redressal. The cell, to be situated at the CMTC building at Banjara Hills, will operate with the number "155304".

Addressing a press conference on Monday, GHMC Mayor Mohammad Majid Hussain and Commissioner M T Krishna Babu said that citizens can reach the call centre number from any service provider, including both landline and mobile numbers.

"The call centre will operate with six seats in each shift, and can be expandable to 10 seats in each shift. The call center can take 60 concurrent calls at any given point of time," it was announced.

The Commissioner said that the call centre would register all types of grievances and provide end-to-end redressal and follow-up with the officers concerned at various levels.

It will have two PRIs with 60 channels live to handle call centre calls, and one additional PRI with 30 channels to handle redundancy.

The data connectivity is through Intranet with a speed of 2 Mbps, and the facility will also have a 24x7 power backup.

Apart from this call centre, grievances can be registered through three other mediums. Citizens can lodge complaints through the website www.ghmc.gov.in, through the eSeva number on 1100, and during the GHMC's Face2Face programme with citizens. Further, grievances registered through VIPs, including MPs, MLAs, MLCs and corporators, will also be registered with the call centre.

The Mayor and Commissioner said they would personally monitor the functioning of the call centre, which, they claim, is being operated by professional and "highly qualified" personnel. (INN)

Eshwaramma Basti , New Subhash Nagar , Domalguda , Hyderabad - 500029 , Telangana ,
I am requesting for New Compound Wall Construction which is Related to our Colony People
Due to heavy rainfall our colony compound wall has damaged and it will collapse at any time because my home is at dead end of street beside my home there is no road & no way
compound wall backside burial ground land located night time its look like way is existing so people are coming to till dead end some people are climbing the wall and some people returning & that road dead end is not in leavel (it is like valley)
so many people are falling into that & getting injured in the night time

sir beside my home place is like small forest , in the night some insects , lizards rats are coming into home & not only insects some different people
( un knowing people may be thief's ) are walking in night time

we are also scaring because of this daily and sir but on burail ground side there is one small compound wall which is constructed by GHMC for
saperate in favour of burail ground land purpose in between some open place
why I am requesting for basti new compound wall construction

Respected sir, iam yamagouni Chakravarthy, r/o 17-1- 391s/362. Lake view residencySingareni colony saidabad post. Recently flooded water came into the appartment ,water stuck for five days. My car and two wheeler drowned in water for five days. No body turn up to give the compensation amt of Rs 10000 which is provided by our Government Shri K Chandra shaker rao Chief Minister of Telangana. Only few of them received the amt in my colony .plz do the need full sir .

I am A Janardhana Rao, resident of H No. 30-272/12/16, of Shankaraih Colony submit that, my house was badly affected by the recent floods and rain/drainage water enter in side of the house along with entire colony, flood relief fund Rs.10000/- sanctioned by the Telangana Govt was paid to all my locality residents which includes opposite to my house, beside of the my house etc, request to do the needful action pay the same. I would like to submit that, I am Janardhana Rao , resident of H no. 30-272/1/2/16, Shankaraiah Nagar, Malkagiri ,not paid flood relief fund as santioned by the Telangana Govt, as the same was paid to all my locality people i.e. before my house, adjacent my house , back side my house, even though my house badly affected by the floods, even water came inside the house and all house hold articles were damaged. Good evening sir.

Am Sandhya. Leaving in rent house at maruthi nagar, khairthabad. Rain water came to my room and all my groceries, rice bag, furnitures, cloths are drowned in rain water and we had lived in rain water for 3 days and we have struggled a lot.

Recently GHMC officials came to my area given Rs. 10000 to individuals who were suffered with above problems, in my absence money hasbeen taken by house owner. They are refusing to give me and they told me that money given to only owners not for renters.

Pls do the needful for us.

Sir, the street lights are not working in the lane next to Sind Bakery on Sarojini Devi Road, Secunderabad -500003 since a month. New LED lights have been fixed but still not working.
