The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation has launched a 24x7 call centre for grievance redressal. The cell, to be situated at the CMTC building at Banjara Hills, will operate with the number "155304".

Addressing a press conference on Monday, GHMC Mayor Mohammad Majid Hussain and Commissioner M T Krishna Babu said that citizens can reach the call centre number from any service provider, including both landline and mobile numbers.

"The call centre will operate with six seats in each shift, and can be expandable to 10 seats in each shift. The call center can take 60 concurrent calls at any given point of time," it was announced.

The Commissioner said that the call centre would register all types of grievances and provide end-to-end redressal and follow-up with the officers concerned at various levels.

It will have two PRIs with 60 channels live to handle call centre calls, and one additional PRI with 30 channels to handle redundancy.

The data connectivity is through Intranet with a speed of 2 Mbps, and the facility will also have a 24x7 power backup.

Apart from this call centre, grievances can be registered through three other mediums. Citizens can lodge complaints through the website www.ghmc.gov.in, through the eSeva number on 1100, and during the GHMC's Face2Face programme with citizens. Further, grievances registered through VIPs, including MPs, MLAs, MLCs and corporators, will also be registered with the call centre.

The Mayor and Commissioner said they would personally monitor the functioning of the call centre, which, they claim, is being operated by professional and "highly qualified" personnel. (INN)

Hi Sir,

This is Vasudev Palle son of Dinesh Kumar Palle bearing the property tax number as (PTIN:1171006282), as declared by government "Early bird scheme 5% discount is not reflecting this year 2020-2021" like every year it was reflecting this year it is not reflecting. 5% discount was given for the last two years for my property tax amount of Rs.20184/- (after discount Rs. 19175/-). If you need I can provide the paid bill receipts for your reference. Please look into this matter and provide us with 5% discount & do the needful at the earliest for this year 2020-2021 too so that I will clear the dues as soon as possible.

The response of GHMC is pathetic.They just collect money.I paid tax online and my bank debited the amount but GHMC portal still shows it as unpaid.Even after sending reminders to GHMC they do not bother to respond.There are open sewage canals , garbage dumping on roads, illegal encroachments on ROADS and footpaths but GHMC is sleeping.

This is to bring to your kind notice that at Secunderabad East metro station lift i.e., from Aparna Tiffin's to metro lift and beyond, no sweeping is done even once in a week nor the garbage is removed. All homeless people are eating and throwing the packets all around. I have complained to GHMC on phone twice, still the position is same. Kindly look into it and do the needful at the earliest

we are facing drainage over flowing problem at anand Nagar colony Khairthabad 6-3-609/53.Two days back they have checked up and settled the overflowing the drinage of near my appartment. Again it is overflowing the . In our apartment old people are there. So kindly see our drinage problem and solve immediately.
