The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation has launched a 24x7 call centre for grievance redressal. The cell, to be situated at the CMTC building at Banjara Hills, will operate with the number "155304".

Addressing a press conference on Monday, GHMC Mayor Mohammad Majid Hussain and Commissioner M T Krishna Babu said that citizens can reach the call centre number from any service provider, including both landline and mobile numbers.

"The call centre will operate with six seats in each shift, and can be expandable to 10 seats in each shift. The call center can take 60 concurrent calls at any given point of time," it was announced.

The Commissioner said that the call centre would register all types of grievances and provide end-to-end redressal and follow-up with the officers concerned at various levels.

It will have two PRIs with 60 channels live to handle call centre calls, and one additional PRI with 30 channels to handle redundancy.

The data connectivity is through Intranet with a speed of 2 Mbps, and the facility will also have a 24x7 power backup.

Apart from this call centre, grievances can be registered through three other mediums. Citizens can lodge complaints through the website www.ghmc.gov.in, through the eSeva number on 1100, and during the GHMC's Face2Face programme with citizens. Further, grievances registered through VIPs, including MPs, MLAs, MLCs and corporators, will also be registered with the call centre.

The Mayor and Commissioner said they would personally monitor the functioning of the call centre, which, they claim, is being operated by professional and "highly qualified" personnel. (INN)

sir i sm a resident of h.no 8-3-2/86 viratnagar karmanghat.The dilapidated boundrywall of the neighbor at the back side of my house is a dangerous threat to yhe life of the peopke residing in ny house.it may fall towards my house any time causing damage to my house.i have complained to acp of katmanghat mr santosh kumar several times from 13-1-2020 onwards.He says the complaint has been send to engeneering section.spot photographs were taken.inspite of several request and reminders no action is taken.A part of this wall has alreafy fallen.i request you to look into the matter at the earliest and take necessary action before some loss of life and property happens.Being a responsible,taxpayer and law abiding citizen ,i expect the Ghmc to look into my complaint and take immediate action before some untowards incident happens.

Respected sir, I have a house in 267 vemana colony chandanagar.Beside my house there is an open place and on this site they have put up a cement brick construction site which is causing lot of inconvenience to us from the dust that comes up from the cement and also the people are going to toilets beside my house I have given a complaint regarding this on ghmc grievance and another complaint regarding the encroachment of nala behind my house people are building houses on it ghmc is destroying it but leaving the bricks in tact for them to construct again.The people who want to occupy are throwing all kinds of things into the nala so that it can be occupied .I have given a complaint on march 8th grievance no. 080320711051 and 080320711058 but no body had attended to it.I had called to mr.Srinivas yadav town planning regarding it but he didnot respond and I have sent a message to him and called him but his mobile is switched off ..so I called on 155304 , it says insufficient balance so please kindly see to it that my problem is solved and your government lands are protected.Thank you sir

I called on 155304 ,it says check your balance grievance.080320711051 and grievance no.080320711058 not attended to.called mr.srinivas yadav ,town planning on his no. But didnot respond .put a long message to him and called him he has just switched off his mobile

Heavy Mosquitos near H.No. 14-10-847, Lower Dhoolpet, Hyderabad Jumerath bazar, Please do the needfull. where shall i complaint for the mosquitoes? my parents live there and unable to sit for 2 minutes also unbearable mosquitoes,its a humble request to GHMC authorites to send remedies for mosquitoes.

Dear GHMC, we are living at Shanthivanam Apartment, behind D'Mart Madhapur, Kavuri Hills Phase2... in front of the Apt, there is a small street road which connects to the Main road. Though there is no public dustbin, and few residents from that street every day dumping bulk Garbage on the street road in front of Shanthivanam Apartment, which looks very ugly and seriously effects Health to the residents who lives at Shanthivanam Apartment due to foul smell and mosquitoes and street dogs !... Municipal van collects Garbage from all the streets except from this street, we really don't know the reason why !?....once in a while if somebody complains then only that van comes to pick up the garbage, that too very rare...We request GHMC to clear this problem with permanent solution ASAP for Shanthivanam Apartment , we feel like are we living in Hitech City area ?!?

To the GHMC
There are 7 open plots littered with garbage around my house of which 3are HUDA plot with boundry walls. One is also contaminated with garbage from a Kandiguda colony that also has a public laterine. Everytime during monsoon there is stench. The colony people keep their colony areas clean and throw the garbage around the area where I live. There is no.understanding what so ever on hygiene. Even owners of expensive houses throw garbage across the wall. With COVID -19 looming over the country. It's scarry what new virus we will be pioneers of.
