The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation has launched a 24x7 call centre for grievance redressal. The cell, to be situated at the CMTC building at Banjara Hills, will operate with the number "155304".

Addressing a press conference on Monday, GHMC Mayor Mohammad Majid Hussain and Commissioner M T Krishna Babu said that citizens can reach the call centre number from any service provider, including both landline and mobile numbers.

"The call centre will operate with six seats in each shift, and can be expandable to 10 seats in each shift. The call center can take 60 concurrent calls at any given point of time," it was announced.

The Commissioner said that the call centre would register all types of grievances and provide end-to-end redressal and follow-up with the officers concerned at various levels.

It will have two PRIs with 60 channels live to handle call centre calls, and one additional PRI with 30 channels to handle redundancy.

The data connectivity is through Intranet with a speed of 2 Mbps, and the facility will also have a 24x7 power backup.

Apart from this call centre, grievances can be registered through three other mediums. Citizens can lodge complaints through the website www.ghmc.gov.in, through the eSeva number on 1100, and during the GHMC's Face2Face programme with citizens. Further, grievances registered through VIPs, including MPs, MLAs, MLCs and corporators, will also be registered with the call centre.

The Mayor and Commissioner said they would personally monitor the functioning of the call centre, which, they claim, is being operated by professional and "highly qualified" personnel. (INN)

Dear sir, The soil heaps which were dumped recently while laying the road, on either side of the road in our lane, opposite SS plaza, SASIKANTHNAGAr, under Kapra circle, were not lifted till now even after 2 weeks are over after laying of the road. They are obstructing the rain water flow. As a result rain watr is entering into our houses in our lane. Officials are requested to take action to dispose them immediately to ensure free flow of rain water. Weather reports are creating panic.

I am a resident of SASIKANTHNAGAr, Kapra circle, h.no.1-8-27/9, near Balaji apartment, Whenever rain occurs, our lane is submerged and rain water is entering into few houses in our lane. Water is not getting discharged due to lmproper slope of the road. The road was laid in such a way that on either side of the road is up and middle of the lane is low lying. As a result, the rain water is not getting discharged. FOr last 20 years , we are suffering from this rain water blockage problem. In rainy season, situation is horrifying. Recently RCC road was laid. For last 20 years we go on complaining about this problem. But proper action was not initiated to solve it. It was addressed on several occasions. Due to heavy rains occured In the last one month we suffered a lot. Yesterday also there is heavy rain fall. Water entered into the houses. At least in this rainy season , take action to solve the water logging problem. Officials are requested to visit the lane personally and solve it. Even we gave solution how to solve it. If the slope of the road is maintained properly while laying, it would have been solved. But not laid with proper slope. Also at the end of the road , soil heaps were dumped on either side of the road which is joining into the main drain canal. It is also adding to this problem and not allowing rain water to discharge through it. It is further requested to take action to dispose the soil heaps and pave the way to rain water to discharge throuh it.

Sir, I am residing at Vijayanagar colony of HAYATNAGAR in h.no.5-9-51/1. Two sides of my house having vacant plots having full of pichi mokkalu. Due to this, masqutos and other insects are developed. Recently snakes are also appeared. Please do need ful.

An apartment in Erragadda, Behind Gokul Cine Theatre, Near Eshwar Pooja Items Traders, right opposite a beauty parlour beside the pooja store, people are growing hens since 2 years and there is a huge mess in the open area from the apartment. It is looking very dangerous and very harmful to the public health and there is a lot of bad smell and huge garbage. Pl. help us to live safe. Kindly look into the matter immediately taking so many people specially children& old lives into consideration.

please send your ghmc person to clear drainage blockage on road as drainage water from the main drains(back water ) is entering into our household and masjid pipelines. if we clean our line again blockage is occurring due to filled up drain pipes on road which is sausing inconvenience in drain pipes. kindly clean the manhole infront of our house and masjid so that water can flow freely.we can able to go masjid. contact us immediately sir

Sir, I am resident of Gandhinagar, new Bhoiguda with H no : 6-6-439/1,.The civic problem I am facing is after construction of CC Road in main lane of Bible house from CGO towers, at the the second right side road, the rain water & tap water is not draining further as there is no route causing stagnation & mosquito attack. Can't open main doors with the fear of Dengue. No corporation employee is taking responsibility. Please commissioner sir, instruct the concerned.We are also citizens of GHMC...

Hi sir my name is sailesh I am leaving in kavadiguda opp petrol pump, there is a pan shop (dabba) on the way to my house, it is on a lane so all people are purchasing cigarettes n gutkhas etc. In this most of the people are minors 12 to 17 age groups students are buying an forming adda, this happens morning to evening and night also so mostly family person like ladies and college going girls and jobs doing ladies are not using the lane because of unsecure feeling kindly look into this and clear the problem.

I am a resident of Huda Hts MLA Colony .between my apt and Shaikpet ,just 200 yds from my house is a large , very dirty stagnant pool . Members of my house affected with Dengue . When I request help 2 times van and workers came , took picures and left .NO HELP in spraying .
