The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation has launched a 24x7 call centre for grievance redressal. The cell, to be situated at the CMTC building at Banjara Hills, will operate with the number "155304".

Addressing a press conference on Monday, GHMC Mayor Mohammad Majid Hussain and Commissioner M T Krishna Babu said that citizens can reach the call centre number from any service provider, including both landline and mobile numbers.

"The call centre will operate with six seats in each shift, and can be expandable to 10 seats in each shift. The call center can take 60 concurrent calls at any given point of time," it was announced.

The Commissioner said that the call centre would register all types of grievances and provide end-to-end redressal and follow-up with the officers concerned at various levels.

It will have two PRIs with 60 channels live to handle call centre calls, and one additional PRI with 30 channels to handle redundancy.

The data connectivity is through Intranet with a speed of 2 Mbps, and the facility will also have a 24x7 power backup.

Apart from this call centre, grievances can be registered through three other mediums. Citizens can lodge complaints through the website www.ghmc.gov.in, through the eSeva number on 1100, and during the GHMC's Face2Face programme with citizens. Further, grievances registered through VIPs, including MPs, MLAs, MLCs and corporators, will also be registered with the call centre.

The Mayor and Commissioner said they would personally monitor the functioning of the call centre, which, they claim, is being operated by professional and "highly qualified" personnel. (INN)

I am the vice president of M/s. Sri Parthasarathi nagar Welfare Association, Thumkunta, Opp:
Alankruta Resorts, Hyderabad. I would like to bring to your kind notice that the Municipal people and nearby hotels, chicken centres and fruit vendors are dumping the garbatge in the open place abutting to the compound wall of the colony, and also litting fire to the garbage, resulting huge smoke in the vicinity of the colony. The smoke is spreading into our colony resulting severe health hazards to the netizens of the colony.. The colony is comprising of old aged people who are residing here with an objective of attaining spirituality. Hence, I request you to take immediate action for stoppage of dumping of garbage in that area to save the old people from the health problems.

Hello Sir,
Why are we constructing Foot paths? All shop keepers are putting their banners on the foot path obstructing the people to walk. When objected they are furiously harassing. With all the obstruction on footpath people are walking on the road which is posing danger for traffic and vehicles. This is happening on the Alkapuri Road, Sri Ramakrishna Puram road at Kothapet. I urge you to take immediate action on this

I am vishnuteja staying in yousufguda check post. From.last few months. In my area we have dumpyard and have more mosquito. Please do release mosquito smoke in our area. Denqu is spreading in my area. My roommate also suffering will dengue fever.

please send your ghmc person to clear drainage blockage on road as drainage water from the main drains(back water ) is entering into our household pipelines. if we clean our line again blockage is occurring due to filled up drain pipes on road which is sausing inconvenience in tdrain pipes. kindly clean the manhole infront of our house so that water can flow freely. contact us immediately sir

My adjacent Plot which is vacant since so many years, garbage
is getting dumped in the vacant plot daily creating lot of Mosquitoes menace is
The above situation may also generate Mosquito enumerously and Dengue may pile up in the colony.
It is my humble request with the GHMC authorities to act upon immediately and take remedies to curtail the mosquito menace on war foot basis.
Your immediate action on this is highly appreciable as city is influencing various Viral fevers.
