The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation has launched a 24x7 call centre for grievance redressal. The cell, to be situated at the CMTC building at Banjara Hills, will operate with the number "155304".

Addressing a press conference on Monday, GHMC Mayor Mohammad Majid Hussain and Commissioner M T Krishna Babu said that citizens can reach the call centre number from any service provider, including both landline and mobile numbers.

"The call centre will operate with six seats in each shift, and can be expandable to 10 seats in each shift. The call center can take 60 concurrent calls at any given point of time," it was announced.

The Commissioner said that the call centre would register all types of grievances and provide end-to-end redressal and follow-up with the officers concerned at various levels.

It will have two PRIs with 60 channels live to handle call centre calls, and one additional PRI with 30 channels to handle redundancy.

The data connectivity is through Intranet with a speed of 2 Mbps, and the facility will also have a 24x7 power backup.

Apart from this call centre, grievances can be registered through three other mediums. Citizens can lodge complaints through the website www.ghmc.gov.in, through the eSeva number on 1100, and during the GHMC's Face2Face programme with citizens. Further, grievances registered through VIPs, including MPs, MLAs, MLCs and corporators, will also be registered with the call centre.

The Mayor and Commissioner said they would personally monitor the functioning of the call centre, which, they claim, is being operated by professional and "highly qualified" personnel. (INN)

Respected Authorities,

I live in Musheerabad bearing H. No 1-5-290/1 Musheerabad, Hyderabad and would like to lodge a complaint with the illegal and unlawful cooking of Haleem in residential area that has been taken place in my neighbourhood during the whole one month of Ramazan which is starting in May this year.

Firstly I want to complaint about Thick Smoke releases while cooking which can cause serious health problems.
The whole house is filled with smoke, Specially elderly people and small kids are facing lot of health issues.
Apart from that the cooking operates whole day because of this, It is Creating lot of noise, Unable to Study / Sleep.
Residents and people who are passing on this road are facing lot of problems.
Customer’s who come and buy Haleem they park there Bikes on the road which causes huge Traffic jams.
Second thing, They use illegal drainage to dump there waste or left out food which is again a serious concern like Drainage overflow and Pollution.
Cooking begins early in the morning and ends at late evening.
I have suggested the owner ( Chotu Miya and his son’s ) to Cook Haleem in some other place by not causing harm to any one. Instead of fixing the problem he give his own reasons.

I request concern authority to take this matter seriously and do the needful.

Mosquitoes are too high, no one taken action from ghmc. But tax payments all are taken in good way. No solution to clear the issue. Rtc colony, madeenaguda, Chanda nagar, Hyderabad- 49.

I am Dr.Tiwari Resident of 11-4-708, 700, 698 Near MNJ Cancer Hospital, Hyderabad.
This is to bring to your kind notice that Street lights are working in our street since 3 to 4 days. I have given a complaint to concerned authority but no use. It is difficult to walk over in the street and outsiders are taking an adventage by arranging the sittings. In this connection, i request the concerned authority to take an action immediately before happened any thing.

I am the residence of Chilkanagar, uppal
There are lot of Mosquitoes in Chilkanagar uppal area we are unable to live. We cannot inhale the air as the mosquitoes entering in to the nose and mouth as such the problem causing malaria fever to residers ,even in the day time we couldn't live in our houses. None of the concerns taking care regarding this issue even after giving several complaints. It would be better if GHMC spreads mosquitoes smoke.

I am a resident of HMT Nagar colony, Nacharam. We are facing problem of unhygienic conditions in the colony since many residents here are throwing debris and litter on colony roads, In front of their complexes, homes leading to increase in mosquitos

Dear sir,
This is to bring your kind attention towards the issues people are facing due to broken drainage systems and manholes.the sewage water is coming out and is causing trouble to even walk on the roads.the sewage water is getting collected on the streets and its stinking and causing many diseases to people living around.nearly 10-15apartments are affected because of this.
Even after continously complainting about our issues there have been no response from ghmc side.
I am sorry to inforn that if there is no response for this mail we would go legally.
I request you to please understand our issues and take actions ASAP.
