The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation has launched a 24x7 call centre for grievance redressal. The cell, to be situated at the CMTC building at Banjara Hills, will operate with the number "155304".

Addressing a press conference on Monday, GHMC Mayor Mohammad Majid Hussain and Commissioner M T Krishna Babu said that citizens can reach the call centre number from any service provider, including both landline and mobile numbers.

"The call centre will operate with six seats in each shift, and can be expandable to 10 seats in each shift. The call center can take 60 concurrent calls at any given point of time," it was announced.

The Commissioner said that the call centre would register all types of grievances and provide end-to-end redressal and follow-up with the officers concerned at various levels.

It will have two PRIs with 60 channels live to handle call centre calls, and one additional PRI with 30 channels to handle redundancy.

The data connectivity is through Intranet with a speed of 2 Mbps, and the facility will also have a 24x7 power backup.

Apart from this call centre, grievances can be registered through three other mediums. Citizens can lodge complaints through the website www.ghmc.gov.in, through the eSeva number on 1100, and during the GHMC's Face2Face programme with citizens. Further, grievances registered through VIPs, including MPs, MLAs, MLCs and corporators, will also be registered with the call centre.

The Mayor and Commissioner said they would personally monitor the functioning of the call centre, which, they claim, is being operated by professional and "highly qualified" personnel. (INN)

Hi Team,

Please resolve drinage blockage issues which is connected to our home causing lots of prob due to drinage water coming back into my home

Since last one year ghmc guys tried to clean the block which is connected to home, but not succeded.

Request you to repair the line or replace the complete line as soon as possible.

Quick action will be highly appreciated.

Dear officer,

We are residents of 21-14, Sharada Nagar, Dilsukhnagar, Hyderabad.

We are writing this in regards to the struggle we are facing with mosquitoes and diseases caused by mosquito bites. The current situation is worst in the known history, as the mosquitoes are countless in number. It is so bad that we are afraid of opening doors and windows throughout the day. In spite of all the safety measures kids are falling sick every other day and we are spending sleepless nights trying to kill the mosquitoes. Please find a picture attached with this message.

The vexation is beyond description and I hope you understand the severity of the problem. We request you to kindly take necessary action to control the mosquitoes and the spread of viral diseases.

Respect Sir,
Please provide spray for masquitoes for controlling of fevers and other diseases. This year is too heavy in vivekanandanagar Colony Kukatpally, hyderabad. Sir don’t forget to give instruction to this area officer. This is my humble request. Due to cleaning of tanks like Pranathi Nagar , Kukatpally, yellammabanda are
mosquitoes are covered .

I'm residence of Shivanandanagar opp-Fever hospital H.No 2-1-390/f/10, nallakunta Hyderabad 500044.Sir, we have huge problem with nalla (musi)besides us.For last one month we are getting bad smell & heavy mosquitos, in nalla full of waste material jam due to the mosquitos it may occur diseases.

The government has failed to have proper pest controls done in our area since the past couple of years resulting in the complete area being pesrwred by the mosquitoes. A lot of nuisance has been created by these tiny beings who have probbaly prevented us from getting proper night's sleep and created a havoc for the elderly and the kids.
There had been no measures taken to have a check over the mosquito population in my area (Roseland colony. Saidabad) 500059.

We never saw this much worst intensity of mosquito problem since 35 years in the locality, particularly near House Number 14-123, Sri Kodandarama Nagar, Dilshuknagar area (Near Post Office)

Seem your officials are very badly taking the issue very litely, ignoring this perennial problem now a days..

You know this problem can't be solved, until and unless systematic / effective fogging intervals on daily basis.

Kindly accord instructions to relevant at least now.

I have purchased Lrs approved plot in jaabhoomi layout Sai ram enclave ameenpur grampanchayat Patancheru Mandal Hyderabad .All the drainage water of the village is diverted in our plot.Stagnant water is breeding ground of mosquitoes. Many residents are suffering from Dengue fever and malaria. We have complained many times in. Ameenpur Grampanchayat office
from March 2017 but no action is taken till now. Kindly request to take necessary action to remove drainage water from our plot.
