The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation has launched a 24x7 call centre for grievance redressal. The cell, to be situated at the CMTC building at Banjara Hills, will operate with the number "155304".

Addressing a press conference on Monday, GHMC Mayor Mohammad Majid Hussain and Commissioner M T Krishna Babu said that citizens can reach the call centre number from any service provider, including both landline and mobile numbers.

"The call centre will operate with six seats in each shift, and can be expandable to 10 seats in each shift. The call center can take 60 concurrent calls at any given point of time," it was announced.

The Commissioner said that the call centre would register all types of grievances and provide end-to-end redressal and follow-up with the officers concerned at various levels.

It will have two PRIs with 60 channels live to handle call centre calls, and one additional PRI with 30 channels to handle redundancy.

The data connectivity is through Intranet with a speed of 2 Mbps, and the facility will also have a 24x7 power backup.

Apart from this call centre, grievances can be registered through three other mediums. Citizens can lodge complaints through the website www.ghmc.gov.in, through the eSeva number on 1100, and during the GHMC's Face2Face programme with citizens. Further, grievances registered through VIPs, including MPs, MLAs, MLCs and corporators, will also be registered with the call centre.

The Mayor and Commissioner said they would personally monitor the functioning of the call centre, which, they claim, is being operated by professional and "highly qualified" personnel. (INN)

155304 not answering any calls. I raised a complaint many times on single issue of street lights in my area. Once the complaint raised they are closing. No idea what the ghmc people are doing. Every time I raise the complaint they are saying we will solve and closing the complaint. But we did not got any resolution yet. Thiefs became more and if ghmc not taking action then what is the use.....

Tarun Singh residence of Sri sai hills colony-attapur , it's been a week drainage is overflowing in front of my house and I complaint to both the supervisor in charge Mr.kishor and our area ghmc commissioner Mrs.Padma mam but still no action taken by them .I mailed them also with photos . I getting messages of complaint numbers but no single person came for inspection.

Sir, The monkey menace is unbearable in my area, Mettuguda .They violently shake the water and drainage pipelines and break them regularly. They attack us and snatch away anything we carry and enter houses and cause havoc. Kindly arrange to catch them and relocate them away from residential areas. Looking forward for your intervention.

One and half month before drainage were cleaned filth and waste piled beside manholes have not been removed from scene sofar. Causing discomfort and presenting unpleasant sight. I request authority take action to remove the same at earliest.

Issue house numbers in Hanuman Nagar for recognition which is located adjacent to Rajendra Nagar. No road facility, drinking water, drainage from past 42 years. Located in center of city but struggling for basic facilities. Worst than any corner village in state. Never saw laying any road since I born.

It worst to hear that they don't want to take any action on local political goons who are doing illegal Constructions and multiple Drianage severage lines has been given from their Buildings and multiple water connections has been given to my beside Building,No hope on GHMC any more at Hyderbad.

I live in Nizampet.. One of our neighbor is constructing 5 floor apartment without GHMC aproval and proper parking facility. Trying to occupy road for parking vehicle. Several complaints were raised in portal but no action was taken. Look into the issue and do the needful. Location :opp ATRI public school arch, Nizampet, high tension line road

Please take action about the illegal construction made by plot no. 9-10, survey no. 97A gachibowl vill. He is occupying the gramakantam boundaries. Causing problem to the rainwater and drainage canals. He is occupying the 5 feet of 10 feet road as well, which is causing problem to the wholelane.
We have already made a complaint on 31.10.2017 to zonal commissioner and deputy commissioner. But today the construction was started so we have complained to the town planning officer but still the illegal construction is going on. Please take the necessary action.
