No Bandh, Aakrosh Diwas A Protest Only: Congress

The TPCC said that Aakrosh Diwas, which is to be held on November 28 against demonetization, was not a call for bandh, but only a State-wide protest rally.
Hyderabad | 26th November 2016
Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) President N Uttam Kumar Reddy said that the Aakrosh Diwas, which is to be held on November 28 against demonetization, was not a call for bandh, but only for demonstrating against the unplanned move.

Briefing media persons after chairing a meeting with senior leaders at Gandhi Bhavan on Saturday, the TPCC chief said that the Congress party had decided to organise several rallies across the State to protest against the inconvenience caused to the general public due to Centre's untimely and unplanned ban of the 1,000 and 500 rupee notes.

Demonstrations will be organised in all Assembly segments and at headquarters of all 31 districts in Telangana State. In Hyderabad, a human chain will be formed before the Reserve
Bank of India office. He said that the Congress party's protest will be totally peaceful and no inconvenience will be caused to the general public.

Uttam Kumar Reddy said that initially the opposition parties had decided to call for Bharat Bandh. Since entire population is facing traumatic situation after demonitisation move by
Prime Minister Narendra Modi, it was felt that bandh call might cause further inconvenience to general public. Therefore, it was decided to organise large scale protest against the
Centre's move.

The TPCC chief said that the Prime Minister pushed the entire country into a situation where everyone was feeling helpless. The pain and agony caused due to shortage of cash seemed
endless. He said that the situation was turning worse with each passing day and that the Centre was just adding to the woes of the general public by making queer banking conditions each day.

He said that this protest was being held especially to mourn the loss of 80 people who died allegedly after standing in queues outside banks, ATM and hospitals too long waiting for cash, and being rejected for not having change for treatment.

Whatever the day been called bandh or aakrosh diwas bottom line is politicians are finding difficult to dipose their unaccountable wealth for which all soughts of accusations are being araised against . Understandable people are facing problem with demonetisation for which calculated remedies were planned. If followed patiently could help our country to get rid of black money which further ensures the security and equal distribution of resources among citizens atleast a fair one.Let's support the move.
