The Committee for assisting the Government of India in drafting the guidelines for the division of employees among Telangana and residuary AP, headed by retired IAS officer C R Kamalanathan, will hold consultations with employee associations to receive their views on the principles and procedures to be followed for the allocation of the staff between the 2 states to be created.
The meeting will be held in the Finance Department Conference Hall of D-Block in the Secretariat on Saturday between 2pm and 5pm.
In the meeting conducted on Friday, certain associations submitted written representations but could not speak to Mr. Kamalanathan. Those associations may attend the meeting convened on Saturday for verbal presentations. Any other associations too can meet the Committee.
Associations that desire to meet Kamalanatham need to register their names with M Lalithambica, Dy Secretary (SR), Room No 203, 2nd Floor, B-Block, AP Secretariat (tel: 9951531798), before 1pm on Saturday.
The associations that have already met the Committee and have presented their verbal and written representations will be given an opportunity at a later date for a detailed discussion, according to a press release. (INN)
