TS Electricity Staff On Fast To Get AP Employees Out

They alleged that the Andhra Pradesh government was not taking back employees of AP origin in Telangana power corporations deliberately.
Hyderabad | 29th August 2017
Telangana electricity employees took up a hunger strike on Tuesday demanding that the Andhra Pradesh government take the engineers who were natives of that state but working in the Telangana electricity department, back to that state.

The Telangana employees lashed out at the Andhra Pradesh government for not taking their employees to its own state though three years had passed after the division of the state, and demanded that the AP government take up the electricity employees' division immediately.

They alleged that the Andhra Pradesh government was keeping quiet in this regard so that it could continue the domination of the Seemandhra employees in the Telangana power corporations, and lamented that they were being meted out injustice in promotions due to the Seemandhra employees in the electricity department.
