Janab Khaleelur Rahman saheb was a senior parliamentarian and a man of principles. His death is a great loss to the people of Andhra Pradesh specially Minorities. The public holiday was declared by the government of India for Eid-e-Milad un nabi on his resuccessful representation when V.P.Singh was the Prime Minister of India. The Hyderabad Airport attained its international status on his representation when he was the member of the Parliamentary Committee of Civil Aviation with the introduction of the Hyderabad Sharjah flight. The Moulana Azad Urdu National University was established on his representation to I.K.Gujral, the then P.M. of India. He got the airport tax exempted for the Haj Pilgrims and the Haj subsiby as well. There are many achievements of his and the list is endless. I pray to Allah swt to grant him the highest place in heaven.Ameen
