TDP Rajya Sabha MP C M Ramesh on Wednesday claimed that the popularity graph of the YSR Congress Party is showing a declining trend.
Speaking to reporters, Ramesh said that leaders of different political parties who "paid" advances to join the YSRCP were now seeking "refunds". He alleged that YSRCP aspirants were no more interested in joining the party due to its dual stand on the Samaikyandhra issue. Claiming that he has the list of aspirants who had paid money to buy a YSRCP ticket for the next elections, he said that he would soon make the list public.
Ramesh charged the YSRCP MPs with not acting in the Parliament in order to stop the State's division.
He also advocated a debate on the Telangana Bill in both the Assembly and the Parliament to convey the concerns of Seemandhra people. He added that there is no need to pass a resolution in the Assembly to keep the state united. (INN)
