YSR Congress Party president Y S Jaganmohan Reddy continues to suffer shocks due to his Party MLAs in Andhra Pradesh migrating to the ruling TDP.
The latest deserter is YSRCP MLA from Pathapatnam in the Srikakulam district Kalamata Venkata Ramana, who is ditching Jagan and shaking hands with TDP supremo and Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu on March 4.
Venkata Ramana said that due to unavoidable circumstances he had contested the 2014 elections on a YSRCP ticket. He said that his father Mohan and he would be joining the Telugu Desam Party to develop his Patapatnam constituency faster.
The exodus from the YSRCP started with Bhuma Nagireddy, his daughter and Adinarayana Reddy defecting a couple of weeks back, and then David Raju following suit.
To stop further defections from his Party to the TDP, Jaganmohan Reddy met his Party MLAs at his Lotus Pond office today. He said that he would soon lodge a complaint with Speaker Kodela Sivaprasada Rao against the MLAs who had defected to the TDP.
