Activists of the Telangana Youth Congress today laid siege to the MLA quarters demanding that the state government immediately release job notifications.
Activists of the Telangana Youth Congress today laid siege to the MLA quarters demanding that the state government immediately release job notifications.
Speaking on the occasion, the activists termed the suicides of all the unemployed youth of the state as state murders.
They also derided CM K Chandrashekar Rao saying that all he had done was issue political notifications for his family members, and asked him when he would release the job notifications for the unemployed youth.
They warned that it was not impossible for the youth, who had achieved statehood for Telangana through sustained struggles, to force the government to release the job notifications.
They also said that the Congress would stand by the unemployed youth of the state.
The police soon reached the spot and arrested the activists.
Similar protests were also held in all the districts of the state, and those at the offices of Bhongir MLA P Sekhar Reddy, Uppal MLA Subash Reddy and Warangal Urban MLA A Ramesh led to mild tension between the activists and the police, with the latter eventually overpowering the activists and arresting them.
