YSR Telangana Party president Y S Sharmila was granted conditional bail by the Nampally criminal court on Tuesday.
The magistrate, after hearing the counsels on both sides, granted bail to the YSR Telangana Party leader, who was asked to submit two sureties each of Rs 30,000 and take permission from the court before going abroad.
Sharmila was arrested on Monday for assaulting police officers in Jubilee Hills while attempting to go from her house to the office of the SIT set up to probe the TSPSC question paper leak. She was later produced in a court which remanded her to judicial custody for 14 days. She was subsequently transferred to the Chanchalguda women's prison in the city.
