The YSR Congress Party has expressed confidence that its president, and Kadapa MP, Y S Jaganmohan Reddy, will get bail on Monday.
Talking to reporters on Sunday, YSRCP leader Jupudi Prabhakara Rao said that Jagan might get bail on Monday as he has been languishing in prison for the last 11 months.
He claimed that in most cases, an accused gets bail after a maximum of 90 days. He added that Jagan's "release" on bail has been delayed due to several factors.
Jupudi also claimed that the YSRCP would be the epicentre of the state's politics after Jagan's "release" on Monday, and predicted that several leaders from different parties would join the YSRCP after Monday.
He also slammed Telugu Desam Party president N Chandrababu Naidu for criticising those who have been joining the YSRCP. He was, evidently, referring to the
entry of Dadi Veerabhadra Rao into the YSRCP. (INN)
