The CBI special court today extended the bail plea of Y S Jaganmohan Reddy and others till May 13.
The hearing of the Disproportionate Assets (DA) case was held through video conference, and the bail was extended.
The court has been hearing the case through video conference, after security issues arose in bringing its high-profile under-trials from Chanchalguda jail to Nampally court.
Besides Y S Jaganmohan Reddy, the others whose remand was extended include former minister Mopidevi Venkataramana, Nimmagadda Prasad and Brahmananda Reddy.
Meanwhile, the Supreme Court has posted to May 6 the bail petition of Y S Jaganmohan Reddy, in the same case.
A bench, comprising Justice Sadasivam and Justice Iqbal, heard the arguments of Jagan's counsel. The court has issued notices to the CBI to file counters in Jagan's bail case.
Meanwhile, the verdict on the petition seeking the High Court's monitoring of Jagan's case has been reserved by the court. (INN)
