The CBI special court, on Friday, extended the judicial remand of YSR Congress party president Y S Jaganmohan Reddy till October 3.
Jagan, who was arrested by the CBI in the Disproportionate Assets case, has been lodged in Chanchalguda Jail since his arrest on May 27 last year.
Besides Jagan, the court has extended the judicial remand of other accused in the case to October 3. The other accused include former minister Mopidevi Venkata Ramana Rao, industrialist Nimmagadda Prasada and senior bureaucrat K V Brahmananda Reddy. They were produced before the court through a video-conference beamed from Chanchalguda Jail.
Meanwhile, former ministers B Dharmana Prasada Rao and P Sabitha Indira Reddy, both accused in Jagan's Disproportionate Assets case, also appeared before the CBI special court on Friday.
Meanwhile, in the Obulapuram Mining Company illegal mining case and the Emaar case, the court extended the judicial remand of former Karnataka minister Gali Janardhan Reddy, Srinivas Reddy, D Rajagopal, Sunil Reddy and other accused till October 3. (INN)
